Why you still feel tired?
Even “clean” eating might not be enough.

Good morning friends,
You’re eating organic, cooking from scratch, and avoiding junk - yet something still feels off.
Low energy. Brain fog. Irritability.
Sound familiar?
Here’s the missing link
Even with the best diet, some people struggle to feel the difference because their body isn’t processing nutrients properly.
The reason often comes down to a biological process called methylation - one of the most important (and overlooked) systems in your body.

What methylation does
Methylation helps your body detoxify, reduce inflammation, and create key brain chemicals that control mood, focus, and energy.
It all starts with an amino acid called methionine, found in meat.

Your body turns it into a compound called SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine), which transfers methyl groups - tiny chemical tags that drive hundreds of cellular functions, including energy production and DNA repair.
When things go wrong
If methylation isn’t running smoothly, a compound called homocysteine builds up.
High homocysteine has been linked to heart disease, anxiety, and even Alzheimer’s.
To regulate it, your body relies on key nutrients like vitamin B12, folate (B9), and B6 - but here’s the catch:
not everyone can use these vitamins efficiently.
The gene connection
If you carry an MTHFR gene variant, your body may struggle to convert standard B vitamins into their active forms.
This means even if you’re supplementing, your body could still be running on low methylation.
That’s why forms like methylfolate and methylcobalamin can make a huge difference - and why DNA testing can reveal exactly what your body needs.
The takeaway
You can eat perfectly and still feel terrible if your biochemistry isn’t supporting you.
Understanding your genetics allows you to supplement smarter, not just more.
